- High-level knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and the ability to discuss treatment plans with patients professionally and effectively.
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Dental office management software (Tracker knowledge is an asset).
- Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering patient trust and satisfaction.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be registered with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO).
- Maintains a valid CPR/First Aid certification.
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Perform dental hygiene procedures including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing.
- Recording patient's data
- Conduct oral health assessments and provide patients with simple terms with oral hygiene techniques.
- Take dental X-rays as needed.
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures.
- Upkeeping both the laboratory and operatory environments
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care.
