Position Overview

Reporting to the Senior Manager, RCC Business Services, the Administration Coordinator is responsible for centralized administration services for the department including the coordination, monitoring, maintenance, and accuracy of input to the financial, payroll, human resource, and other administrative systems. This position provides leadership in part-time hiring and payroll, records management, and contract/agreement inventory.

Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for:
- Leading and supervising the Administration Unit including recruitment, training, coaching and evaluation- Providing a leadership role to department staff in all centralized administrative functions to meet business and customer needs- Identifying and developing continuous improvement opportunities for the administration team to enhance service delivery.- Provide centralized support for part-time staff processes and records retention.

Requirements

You possess a Community College diploma in Business Administration or have an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. You have three of more years of staff supervision experience along with knowledge and skills in administrative, financial and/or payroll systems. Experience with Workday and / or AMANDA software systems is considered an asset. Experience in the following areas is essential:

This position may require occasional travel between sites and/or City facilities.
