We are Parallel 49 Brewing Company, a craft brewery based in the heart of East Vancouver. We were founded in 2012 by passionate craft beer enthusiasts and have quickly become a staple in the Canadian craft beer scene. - The **Warehouse Operator - Delta** is responsible for all incoming and outgoing shipments from the Parallel 49 Brewing Company’s warehouse. They are responsible to safely operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts and maintain a clean, lean and organized warehouse.

**This is a Temporary Contract position starting in May and finishing in late August. This position will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm.**

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of the products receivedLoading and unloading trucks as required, including returning stock, pallets, etc. to inventory
-Prepare orders for delivery and shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
-Maintain clean and organized work environment and adhere to all safety protocols
-Responsible for maintaining efficient product storage and movement
-Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels and conducting regular inventory audits
-Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
-Maintain a safe working environment and follow all health and safety guidelines
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is preferredCounterbalance Forklift and Narrow Aisle Forklift Experience (certification is preferred)
-Experience operating warehouse equipment is preferred
-Experience with inventory management software is an asset
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
-Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
-Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in the food and beverage industry preferred

**Education Requirements**
- High school diploma or equivalent

**Working Conditions**
- Work is performed both indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditionsMust be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds
-Must be able to stand, bend and stoop for extended periods of time
- This position requires work in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, loud noises, and potential hazards
