We are seeking a skilled Clamp Forklift Operator to join our team in the Delta region of British Columbia. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a forklift to transport goods and materials throughout the warehouse, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing disruptions.
  • Conduct inventory counts using RF Scanners, accurately tracking stock levels and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Stack and store merchandise in designated areas using the clamp forklift, maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance on the forklift and clamp truck, adhering to safety inspection regulations and promoting equipment longevity.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, prioritizing personal and team safety.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a strong foundation in mathematics and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid forklift operator certification, highlighting your expertise in operating heavy machinery.
  • Experience in inventory count with RF Scanners, showcasing your ability to accurately track stock levels.
  • Proven 2-3 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment, emphasizing your familiarity with warehouse distribution processes.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, enabling you to optimize storage and retrieval strategies.
  • Basic math skills for inventory control purposes, allowing you to accurately calculate stock levels and identify trends.
  • Mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on equipment, extending the lifespan of our vehicles.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as required, showcasing your physical fitness and stamina.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus, enhancing your understanding of inventory management and logistics.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with all employees, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
About the Opportunity

This role offers a competitive pay rate of $20.00 per hour, complemented by shift premium payments. The work schedule consists of afternoon shifts from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm or night shifts from 9:30 pm to 6:00 am. The work location is situated in the Delta region of British Columbia.
