Halifax, Canada BlackBay Management Full time

This role will be responsible for full cycle accounts payables (80% of time) as well as acting as the receptionist to greet guests as they arrive and direct calls from our main phone line (20% of time).

Blackbay Management handles the bookkeeping for a variety of different legal entities, so attention-to-detail is critical for success.

RESPONSIBILITIES;
- Full Cycle Accounts Payable
- Invoice Coding & Entering
- Coordination of Invoice Approvals
- Generating Payment Runs
- Answering phone calls and forwarding accordingly
- May include handling supplier related questions
- Greeting Guests/Suppliers/Customers as they arrive at our main office and handle accordingly
- Co-ordinating any couriers, etc. as needed
- Attention to detail in office upkeep

Other duties as assigned or required

QUALIFICATIONS
- Education and Experience: 2+ years of related accounts payable experience
- Post-secondary Diploma/Degree in Office Administration, Accounting, or similar
- Previous experience with QuickBooks an asset

Related Skill Requirements:

- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Detail oriented, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines
- Self-motivated and results driven; prefers to work in an entrepreneurial environment that empowers innovation and embraces shifting priorities
- Inclination to develop new ideas and create solutions

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- HALIFAX, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (required)
