In addition to their CPA, CA, CGA designations, all our team members currently hold the MBA, LLM (Master of Tax), and Master of Accountancy designations.

**Accounting / Admin Clerk**
- Please note that this is a materiality leave position, but it may be extended based on the circumstances, and at least 12-month contract with possible extension.

**Major Duties**:

- Perform accounts receivable functions and file monthly sales tax and EHT returns, WSIB.
- Carry out a full-cycle month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Assist in the compilation of data and performance of calculations for the preparation of tax provisions.
- Prepare monthly credit card reconciliations and related journal entries.
- Assist in the preparation of corporate and personal tax returns.
- Perform other general accounting, tax research & analysis, clerical, and ad-hoc tasks as necessary.
- Assist with reviewing monthly tax reports and provide support/back function.

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of one year of experience in a similar capacity.
- Must be fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese.
- Solid knowledge of Canadian Taxation and willingness to explore and learn more complex taxation practices.
- Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Superior organizational and prioritization skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect the integrity of financial documents.
- Proficiency in Quickbooks, Simply Accounting, CaseWare, CaseView, and tax preparation software.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract, Full-time

**Salary**: $17.50-$19.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
