**Job Description**:
**POSITION PURPOSE**

This position is responsible for scheduling a range of court cases before officials and administering court lists according to regional judicial policies and directives. Also responsible for sending out trial notices and coordinating all enforcement calendars. Completes special projects as assigned.

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Organizes trial requests prior to scheduling.
- Makes changes to officer availability schedules from a variety of enforcement agencies and maintains in database.
- Schedules a range of court hearings before judicial officials.
- Schedules matters taking into consideration court master plan, officer availability and internal protocols.
- Assists team lead in maintaining court lists utilized to established scheduling practices.
- Coordinates changes to court lists to respond to a variety of circumstances and to officer availability from various enforcement agencies.
- Processes documents and orders liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepares and send out notices of trial within timelines.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Successful completion of a Post Secondary Diploma/Certificate (1 year or more) in Business Administration or Professional Program or related field or approved equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum three (3) years' experience in an office environment, including demonstrated legal or court experience using the Integrated Court Offences Network (ICON) database to retrieve and access data.
- Satisfactory Police Criminal Background Check and annual Police Security Clearance.
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant Standards, Acts and Regulations.
- Demonstrated ability in the Region’s core competencies.
- Knowledge of general office procedures including records management system.
- Intermediate skills in virtual platforms and MS Office Suite.
- Strong oral and written communication skills to provide customer service to various internal and external court users.
