As the Training Specialist, reporting to the Manager, Training and Development, you will be responsible for performing training needs assessments, designing, and delivering training materials, including classroom and in-store training. The Training Specialist works closely with various teams to develop training material that will support store operations, boost workplace performance, and support the company’s goals and core values. The Training Specialist represents the M&M Food Market brand by exhibiting our corporate values and serving as a brand ambassador at all times. Need more details? Keep reading

**In this role, you will**:

- Assist in the development of training material and communication to support operational activities such as brand standards, new procedures, new systems, and changes in execution; these may include written, visuals, or virtual tools and content.
- Build, update and facilitate virtual classroom training.
- Facilitate in-store training, nationally, for one to two weeks at a time.
- Assist with the administration of our Learning Management System.
- Develop content for our learning platform and tools to support business needs.
- Assist with the coordination of the Food Safety Training program.
- Liaise with other functional areas to ensure training support for all team members and functional areas, as required.

**So, are you our next Training Specialist? You could be if you have**,
- Minimum of 3-5 years of training experience, preferably in a retail food industry environment
- Post-secondary education in Adult Education, HR, Education, or another related field.
- Prior experience working with a Learning Management System.
- Prior experience developing and hosting virtual classrooms and workshops preferred.
- Previous experience with Canva, Vyond, Movavi, and Articulate 360 preferred.
- Bilingualism (French/English) is considered a strong asset.
