Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the overall cleaning of the guest suites, facilities and common areas in keeping with the housekeeping standards.

**In this role, you will**:

- Interacts with guests needs in a pleasant, helpful and professional manner;
- Reports all appliances, furniture and equipment that are not in proper working condition;
- Returns all Lost and Found items to the Housekeeping office for proper storage;
- Reports all maintenance deficiencies for corrective actions;
- Conducts daily linen inventory of incoming linen from laundry, removing linen not meeting standards
- Sends out maid service linens and checked out suite linens and towels to the cleaners;
- Maintains linens and storage closet in a neat and tidy order;
- Assists staff and other Room Attendants in cleaning guest suites during emergencies and as required;
- Clean and maintain all floor surfaces, walls, rails and glass in lobbies, stairwells and garage. Completed at a frequency that ensures the level of cleanliness consistently exceeds Minto's service delivery standards
- Clean and maintain interior of guest elevators to Minto's service delivery standards and the service elevator before and/or after use by trades each day
- Clean and maintain exterior loading dock and laneway
- Maintain the cleanliness of all other storage and mechanical rooms in garage level, mechanical penthouse and throughout building
- Maintain staff lunch room, change rooms and washrooms, fitness room area, Genoa room, Boardroom and media room.
- Able to push, pull and lift moderate weight
- Maintain corridors in a clean and tidy order, vacuuming and dusting according to the schedule set out by Minto
- Other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as requested by management.

**Education**:High school is an asset.***

**Experience**:A minimum of one to two (1-2) years of relevant work experience in a similar role is an asset.
