**About Us**:
The Royal Alberta Museum (RAM) is the largest museum in western Canada and one of the top museums in Canada. Located in the Arts District in downtown Edmonton, we collect, preserve, research, interpret, and exhibit objects and specimens related to the heritage of Alberta's people and natural environment.

**Role**:
The Royal Alberta Museum is seeking a positive administrative professional with experience in revenue collection, purchasing, and financial processes to join our administrative team.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Tracking Revenue for the museum including updating and managing tracking systems, tracking both earned and unearned revenue, prepare reports for leadership, advising on procedures and guidelines for the Branch and reconciling bi-weekly bank deposits.
- Reporting of Revenue bi-weekly using cash blotter reconciliation reports, prepare accurate reporting of revenue distribution, and meeting with management to prepare forecasts and estimates.
- Daily and Monthly Reconciliation via Analysis of general ledger to ensure all data from Concur including PR's and Pcards are posted without errors to the correct cost centers and accounts. Track and reconcile procurement card expenses for staff in concur, prepare for submission for Expenditure Officers.
- Complete Monthly Forecasting and Budget Tracking in collaboration with
- the Head of Central Operations and Front of House Manager on a monthly basis, to accurately forecast expenditures against year-to-date spending for the fiscal year and prepare daily reconciliation of expenditures with a monthly reconciliation of budgeted and fore-casted values to actual expenditures.

Procurement duties include managing contracts, acquiring goods up to $50,000, completing requisition requests in 1GX, and facilitating the competitive bid process through Alberta Purchasing Connection.

This position works as a member of the Central Operations team and will provide administrative support regarding centralized museum duties including, but not limited to, reception services, mail, asset inventory, data entry, etc.

**Qualifications**:
High school diploma and three years of related experience.

**Equivalency**:
Directly related experience or education considered on the basis of:
One year of experience for one year of education or one year of education for one year of experience.

**Requirements**:

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel.
- In depth knowledge of department programs, program guidelines, policy and procedures, and system needs and design to identify and resolve problems for information reporting.
- Strong knowledge of Government of Alberta procurement practices and applicable trade agreements

**Asset**:

- 2 year Accounting/Business diploma

**Salary**:
$ 1,884.99 to $ 2,307.87 bi-weekly ($49,198- $ 60,235 per year)

**Notes**:
Hours of work are 36.25 hours weekly, Monday through Friday.
