**Role**:Accounting Administrative Specialist
**Location**:Head Office - 55 Head Street, Suite 401, Dundas, ON, L9H 3H8
We are looking for individual with a love of accounting admin functions as well as an interest in working at a beautiful location with a great team This full-time role is based out of our Head Office in Dundas, Ontario, and involves a variety of A/R and A/P duties covering our multiple locations.
**Role & Responsibilities**
- Create customer invoices and estimates as requested, distribute, record customer payments and monitor outstanding balances
- Maintain complete records re: client contracts, ensuring accuracy, proper invoicing and filing as per approved amounts/schedules
- Anticipate roadblocks and work to mitigate their impact; ultimately assisting where required in expediting resolutions and ensuring a smooth day-to-day operation
- Review monthly bank and credit card statements, identifying activity, sourcing relevant receipts and recording as required
- Collect and create complete reports for Employee Expense reimbursements on a monthly basis
- Generate monthly commission reports for all Resellers and Affiliates, ensuring that all site sales not connected with accounting software are entered manually.
- Retrieve, process and distribute Canada Process Mail
- Assist in the backup performance of other Operations roles, eg., other admin specialists and shipping and fulfillment, as needed
- Other accounting administrative duties as required
**Experience & Qualifications**
- A certificate or diploma in accounting preferred, or related courses completed
- 2+ years of experience in an accounting admin position
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, software-based environment
- Working knowledge of and experience using Google Drive, Gmail and Sheets
- Strong proficiency in Quickbooks Online, in Microsoft Office (Excel), and aptitude to learn other software tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a positive workspace
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Ability to receive both verbal and written instruction
- A strong sense of personal integrity
