**The Opportunity**:
The HR Coordinator supports the organization’s Executive team by managing the necessary administrative and employee relationship aspects of the business from an HR lens, while championing the values and culture of the company.

**Objectives**:

- Assist in developing and executing procedures and policies, provide guidance and interpretation for business operations
- Participate in the development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and ongoing reports for company requirements
- Assist in administering benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs
- Provide procedures and policies for improving employee experience and the efficiency of the company
- Ensure compliance with local and national regulations and applicable employment laws, update policies and procedures when necessary
- Work with the Executive team in the design and execution of programs that educate, support and build on the culture of the company and its values - ‘’Building Better Buildings. Building Better Lives.’’

**Responsibilities**:

- Report to the Management Team and HR Consultant
- Provide administrative, ESA, OHRC and OHSA support.
- Full cycle recruitment including the development of job descriptions, postings, screening, interviewing, reference checks and onboarding.
- Liaise with the HR Consultant regarding workplace concerns
- Contribute to discussions on staff movement and career path design.
- Complete HR reporting requirements on a timely basis and support HR projects as required.
- Develop HR policies, processes, and programs.
- Show your creativity and innovation to communicate all of the resources and benefits available to employees, support team and culture building activities and events.
- Maintain employee records (digital and paper) and general administrative duties as required.

**Your Capabilities and Credentials**:

- Post-Graduate certificate or equivalent in Business/Human Resources
- 4 years of Human Resource experience in Ontario
- Knowledge of relevant legislation including ESA 2000, OHRC, AODA, OHSA, WSIB
- Advanced communication skills (verbal and written)
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Discretion in the handling of sensitive and confidential information

**Current Systems**:
Experience with the following programs would be an asset:

- EOS business model
- Lean Manufacturing
- MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Google programs - Gmail, Google Drive, Forms, Calendar, Slides
- ADP payroll, Open Circle Benefits
- QuickBooks Online

**Compensation**:

- Salary based on experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to $70,000.00 per year
