Toronto, Canada 360 Concussion care Full time

**POSITION**:Research Assistant (Toronto/Mississauga)
**TERM**: Part-Time. This position will be two days a week, working out of both our Mississauga and Toronto location.
**SALARY**: Commensurate with skills and experience
**REPORTS TO**: This position will be hired through the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario Research Institute (CHEO RI)

**About the Clinical Research Coordinator role**:
CHEO RI has an immediate requirement for a highly motivated Research Assistant, working in-person at the 360 Concussion Care clinics in Toronto and Mississauga. As a research assistant, you'll be involved in the day-to-day activities conducting concussion research.

This individual will work two days per week at each of the 360 Concussion Care locations in Toronto and Mississauga.

Tuesday: 8am-4pm working out of 360 Concussion Care's Mississauga location
Thursday: 7:30am - 3:30pm working out of 360 Concussion Care's Toronto location
*_hours may vary slightly from week to week based on clinic schedule_

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Patient recruitment including screening and obtaining informed consents
- Data entry and data integrity
- Collect follow up data
- Collection, scoring, and coding of research information
- Creation and maintenance of research files according to study guidelines
- Assist as needed with other administrative duties related to ongoing research and clinical operations

**QUALIFICATIONS, SKILL AND ABILITIES**
- College or University undergraduate degree in a health-related field
- Minimum 1 year of research experience
- Understanding of research design, procedures, guidelines and standards governing clinical research including Personal Health Information Protection Act
- Data management experience
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and organizational skills
- Demonstrated collegiality, professionalism and team skills
- Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and ability to work independently

**OTHER REQUIREMENTS**
- Eligible to work in Canada;
- Compliance with CHEO RI’s Universal COVID-19 Vaccination Policy; and
- Police Record Check.

**WORKING ENVIRONMENT**
- Clinic setting work, exposure to patients, children, and parents and/or caregivers
- Primarily on-site, typically 2 days per week
