Job Summary

As a key member of the AutoTrader team, the Chief Information Security Officer will be responsible for overseeing and implementing comprehensive security strategies to safeguard our organization's assets and data.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a strong background in information security management. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our security goals and objectives are met, and that we maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.

• Collaborate with security teams to identify and mitigate potential risks, and to develop incident response plans.

• Conduct regular security audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of our security controls and identify areas for improvement.

• Oversee the implementation of security best practices and technologies, including encryption, access control, and threat detection systems.

• Provide guidance and support to employees on security awareness and training, and ensure that all staff members understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a secure working environment.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of information security, and advise on strategic investments to enhance our security posture.

• Work closely with stakeholders to communicate security-related information and ensure that our security initiatives align with business objectives.

• Foster a culture of security awareness and accountability throughout the organization, promoting a proactive approach to managing risk and protecting our assets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

• At least 5 years of experience in security management, security consulting, or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices, such as NIST, ISO, PCI, etc.

• Proficient in security project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification is a plus.

• Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or Certified Project Management Practitioner (CPMP) certification is preferred.

About You

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a pension plan, gym discounts, and virtual wellness program.
