**Job Overview**:
We are looking for an organized and friendly Photographer/Videographer to join our Summer 2024 camp team. Camp photographers/videographers are responsible for capturing the magic of camp and its memories through photos and videos. They aren’t shy to get in the action of the activities and interact with staff or campers to make them comfortable in order to get a great shot. They will keep all of their shots organized to be used for marketing purposes throughout the year, and help to share the photos and videos taken to our social media platforms.
- Passionate about photography and videography and has an eye for good composition and design
- Has working experience and a rich portfolio showcasing photography and videography work
- Has a friendly outgoing personality that helps staff and campers feel comfortable
- Has experience working with children
- Is flexible and adaptable
- Possesses excellent time management skills
- Is able to positively take feedback to make edits

**Considered an Asset**:

- Drone photography/videography experience
- Previous camp or recreation experience

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate with leadership team across camp locations to schedule and plan times to film content
- Capturing moments throughout the day of staff and campers building STEAM projects and having fun
- Producing creative marketing videos and end of session slideshows/videos
- Create storyboards, scripts, shot lists for video production
- Take photos, record audio and video
- Develop content for social media platforms
- Capture Cabin Photos and other photo/video content upon request
- Organization and Management of Content (eg. keywords tagging, file renaming, batch exports etc.)
- Photo and video editing (bright, positive and airy)
- Examples of project deliverables: Staff and camper testimonial videos, STEAM/Sports Adventure/Soccer summer camp promo videos

**Job Requirements**:

- Has experience in photography and videography with a rich portfolio
- Owns own equipment
- Is proficient with photo editing software and camera equipment (i.e. Adobe Lightroom, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro or other AI editing software and tools)
- Has an eye for colour, composition, and photography/videography techniques
- Has excellent written communication skills, specifically for digital content
- Full weekday availability in July and August and select training days in June

**Additional Requirements**:

- Vulnerable Sector Screening Check (upon hire)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $16.55-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

- Richmond Hill, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
