**Job Functions**
- Acts as the primary contact for end-user customer support
- Monitors and manages IT call tickets to completion
- Recommends solutions to improve customer service
- Provides support and training to system users
- Maintains communications and operations for Mitel phone system
- Provides basic administration services to help maintain systems and helps manage IT assets
- Assists the Systems Administrator to troubleshoot LAN/WAN hardware and software issues
- Maintains availability of systems and services by upgrading, replacing or repairing systems as needed
**Competencies and Experience Required**:
- A strong understanding of information technology principles and concepts
- A demonstrated ability to establish strong working relationships with internal customers and end users
- Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities, objectives and deadlines
- Strong communication skills with all levels of staff and management
- Flexibility and adaptability to adjust to changing priorities
- Take responsibility and demonstrate independence and initiative
- A strong team mentality that respectfully collaborates in team objectives to meet department and organizational goals
- Experience with a Citrix environment an asset
- Experience with Lansweeper an asset
- Experience in a shop environment supporting production users with various software and equipment, including maintaining access through LAN or WAN systems would be considered an asset
- Should be comfortable with going into a large shop environment and assisting users
- Must be proficient in document writing
