Brantford, Canada E&M Copper Products Full time

Responsible for producing quality parts on time and to customer specifications while providing technical/maintenance support to production team. Work with Team members to maintain a safe work environment and ensuring a clean and organized workplace.

**Essential Duties**:

- Operate and set up machines to perform operations, including, but not limited to, Brazing, cutting, bending, end-forming and drilling punching
- Responsible for developing and maintaining procedures for all processes to correctly set up, operate and maintain tools and equipment through Standard Operating Procedures
- Assist in requisition of materials and supplies
- Support and train Team members

**Maintenance Duties**:

- Inspect and adjust equipment such that processes run efficiently
- Determine root cause of breakdowns and troubleshoot problems, lead the resolution process and seeks guidance as needed
- Monitor equipment and machine operations to proactively detect defects or malfunctions
- Identify workmanship and material defects on First-Offs, in-process assemblies and final components. Assist in creating and maintaining SOP’s, refining customer drawings and documentation
- Develop and implement a periodic routine maintenance schedule for equipment and tooling such as cleaning, lubricating, sharpening and replacing worn or defective tools
- Make recommendations to Leadership when major service should be planned for or immediately addressed in order to maintain an acceptable level of production

**Continuous Improvement**:

- Participate and lead in Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Assess and analyze current production methods - recommends ways to maximize productivity of equipment
- Explore ways to maximize the capacity of all equipment

Perform other duties required by Leadership as required

**Salary**: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
