**What you’ll do**
**Operations**
- Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, enhance market presence, and achieve organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish long-term goals and ensure alignment with the company's mission and vision.
- Oversee all aspects of production operations, including sourcing materials, manufacturing processes, quality control, and logistics.
- Develop and implement efficient production processes to optimize productivity and minimize costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical sourcing practices.
- Oversee the sales activities to drive revenue growth and expand the customer base.
- Collaborate with the marketing personnel to develop effective promotional campaigns and branding strategies.
- Work closely with the graphic design team to create captivating and innovative designs for promotional products that align with client requirements and market trends.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and partners to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure the consistency and excellence of all products.
- Work with the management team on creating KPIs for Nations Creations
**Leadership**
- Provide overall guidance to the Nation’s Creation’s division, including management of direct reports:
- Work planning, scheduling, payroll processing and assessment of staffing need,
- Hiring/promotion, staff development, coaching/mentoring, development plans, feedback, and conducting performance management reviews.
- Conflict resolution, discipline, and termination recommendations.
- Authorizing leaves of absence.
- Evaluating the work of staff and volunteers to ensure that programs are of appropriate quality and that
resources are used effectively, and
- promoting shared team goals and collaboration among members.
**Fiscal Accountabilities**
- Develop and manage Nation’s Creation’s budget, tracking expenses, and financial performance, ensuring appropriate systems and procedures are followed in order to provide financial oversight and budgetary control, in alignment with the Finance Administration Law and Finance Policy.
- Implement cost-effective measures to maximize profitability while maintaining product quality.
- Improve product costing and pricing strategies.
- Preparing, negotiating, and administering contracts for projects related to initiatives, in alignment with policies and procedures.
- Identifying and pursuing opportunities for supporting new activities and improvement initiatives.
**Reporting, Compliance, and Administration**
- Responsible for ensuring compliance to all legislative requirements, including privacy laws with regard to documents, files, and information and that responsible authorized access and control over files/information and sensitive division or confidential or business documents and materials.
- Ensuring that all activities and reporting are conducted in accordance with established Seabird Island policies and procedures, grants, and funding agreements, including ensuring accountability and transparency in the development, design, monitoring and evaluation of projects and programs.
