We are looking for Caregivers and Personal Support Workers to serve seniors in their homes in Cobourg, Port Hope and the surrounding area Our Care Team provides companionship, light housekeeping and personal care services to keep seniors living at home for as long as possible. Part-time schedules available during the day or overnight hours

TYPICAL TASKS include:

- Building a meaningful relationship with a senior
- Planning and preparing quality meals and snacks
- Light housekeeping work (sweeping, vacuuming, laundry, dishes and everyday cleaning tasks)
- Running errands, driving seniors to appointments
- Providing personal care (assist with changing, bathing, grooming, toileting and incontinence care)

We also have opportunities to serve seniors with Alzheimer’s disease and other types of Dementia

REQUIREMENTS to be a Caregiver:

- Possess the ability to treat seniors with dignity and respect
- Can communicate in a friendly, congenial manner with clients and office staff
- Can complete a vulnerable sector check and driver's abstract
- Possess a valid driver’s license and valid insurance with a reliable car
- Have availability for shifts during the weekdays and every other weekend
- Experience is preferred but not required

Compensation: $16-18 per hour

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-35 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cobourg, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Day Shift (preferred)
- Overnight Shift (preferred)
