**Manager - Respite & Passport Services**

Community Living & Respite Northumberland (CLRN) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the full inclusion and citizenship of people with disabilities who reside in Northumberland County. CLRN strives to achieve this by building individual, family and community capacity. The Manager of Respite & Passport Servicesoversees the Children’s & Adult Respite programs as well as our Passport Brokerage and Services. Through these programs, families and caregivers receive support to navigate and facilitate respite services as well as passport funding brokerage and fee for service.

**We are currently seeking a dynamic energetic leader to fulfil a full time, 40 hour per week Manager Contract Position projected to begin in April 2023 and projected to end March 2024.**

The Manager of Respite & Passport Services, an integral member of the Management Team, is responsible for overseeing the Respite & Passport services and its team in compliance with policies and ministry requirements. The Manager will demonstrate strategic thinking capabilities and provide in-depth coaching to foster the growth and capacity development of others. A commitment to the mission related to assisting persons with a developmental disability to live in a state of dignity and to participate fully and effectively within the community is essential. The Manager of Respite & Passport Serviceswill continue to develop the success of the Children’s & Adult Respite programs and Passport brokerage services. The Manager will promote the organization’s culture of leadership, quality service, transparency, learning and innovation.

Educational qualifications for this position include a post-secondary diploma or degree in the Social Services field or equivalent training and experience. This will be combined with a minimum of three (3) years of successful program management and progressive supervisory experience in a unionized setting.Required are a valid G license, access to a vehicle, current NVCI, First Aid/CPR certificates, and a current and acceptable Criminal Reference/Vulnerable sector Check.
