**Overview**:
The Office of Catholic Youth is seeking a full time Event & Program Coordinator (Youth) who is responsible for OCY programs & initiatives geared towards supporting Youth Ministry, both at the parish and diocesan level - bringing the vision and initial concept to reality, creating and implementing planning schedules and calendars, coordinating volunteers and logistics, contributing creatively to process, ensuring program and event success from top to bottom from first planning stages to post-event evaluation under the supervision of the Associate Director of Youth Ministry and in collaboration with colleagues.

**Responsibilities**:

- Initiate programs and events, as approved by the Director, providing timelines and resource needs (including but not limited to Totus Tuus, EDGE Camp, Youth Ministry Training Days)
- Provide internal logístical support for all OCY programming and events, including but not limited to: budget monitoring, sourcing venues, liaising with speakers and exhibitors, reviewing and arranging appropriate accommodation, transportation, catering, signage, promotional materials, procurement and security.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders for delivery of programs and initiatives (e.g. Office of Vocations and Office of Formation for Discipleship)
- Evaluate and provide reports on in-progress & completed activities, making recommendations for improvement
- Work in collaboration with other team members and actively contribute in the overall vision and direction
- Share personal gifts and skills as appropriate within the mandate of the OCY
- Other duties, as required

**General Requirements**:

- University degree, college diploma and/or relevant work experience
- Experience in event planning, volunteer coordination or customer service relations
- Strong service orientation and high attention to detail
- Superior interpersonal, organizational & communication (oral & written) skills
- Experience with project and event planning
- Knowledge or previous experience in programs including Steubenville Toronto, Totus Tuus, Renew Toronto, Edge Camp, and Training Days
- Respect for the Catholic Church, its teachings and willingness to work in a Catholic professional environment
- Willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
