**THE ROLE**

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**
- Organize and maintain personnel records and update internal people databases.
- Prepare and process full cycle semi-monthly hourly and salary payroll for employees; review and ensure accuracy of approved timesheets; track and deduct all garnishments, benefits, and other payroll deductions using CeridianSupport the administration of the benefits and RRSP programs.
- Responsible for the coordination efforts between payroll, human resources, and other departments as required to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data.
- Prepare and issue bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Collect and ensure integrity of data for HR & Payroll systems and documents.
- Ensures internal clients are provided seamless, timely, and responsive service.
- Manage year end reconciliation and reporting requirements.
- Assist in fiscal year end and annual audit process.
- Serve as back-up to Payroll Team Leader position as required.
- Other duties and projects as required.

**WHAT WE REQUIRE**
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner certification or equivalent, with a minimum 3 years of payroll experience required;
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills, including the ability to exercise independent judgment;
- Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
- Proven ability to work with mathematical calculations required;
- Advanced organizational and time management skills;
- High attention to detail, with a track record of mínimal administrative errors;
- The ability to keep sensitive information confidential;
- Ceridian Dayforce experience is an asset;
- Bonus points for experience related to HR, payroll benefits, basic accounting or a related people or operations function;
- Bonus points for being a whiz with Excel and Microsoft Suite;
- Bonus points for insurance knowledge or industry experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
