**ABOUT THE COMPANY**

This position reports to the Sales Manager.

**JOB SUMMARY**

The Sales Representative will focus on customer acquisition and managing an account base. This position involves cold calling new potential clients, client business referrals, or web leads, as well as maintaining relationships with and growing existing accounts. Provide prospective customers/clients with all services offered, and additional presentations as needed. Work with existing and new clients to create solutions for their needs and consult through the sales process. Must be energetic, well-spoken, and eager to close sales and increase revenue. We are offering commission in addition to a base salary for this position.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients
- Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support
- Researching potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital resources
- Qualifying leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, trade shows, etc.
- Creating and maintaining an assigned list of clients and accounts
- Presenting and delivering information to potential clients
- Answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions
- Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics
- Building pipelines with channel partners and team members to close sales
- Maintaining database (Zendesk, CRM, Netsuite, Excel, etc.) of client information
- Closing sales and working with the client through the closing process
- Occasionally attending and participating in B2B trade shows across North America

**REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS**
- Develop a plan and ensure its execution in order to maximize the revenue of the company.
- Promote and sell the company's products to its clients and prospective customers.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and new prospects (this is achieved by following up on inbound leads and online evaluations; proactive cold calling; and following up on outbound marketing campaigns).
- Work out strategies that would help displace competitors from market positions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers.
- Persuasive and goal-oriented.
- Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanour.
- Eager to expand the company with new sales, clients, and territories.
- Self-motivated and self-directed.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- In-depth understanding of company services and its position in the industry.
- Tenacity to handle rejection and continue on with a positive attitude when reaching next potential client.
- Knowledge of sales process from initiation to close.
- Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team.

**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**
- Attention to detail, common sense and problem-solving skills.
- Must possess a great deal of people skills.
- Minimum 2 years experience working in a B2B sales environment. Experience in the consumer product goods industry preferred.
- Fast learner able to pick up on technical product details.
- A team player able to work collaboratively with colleagues, suppliers and customers.
- Attributes include maturity, patience and flexibility with high energy and work ethic, and solid integrity.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and G Suite (Google Sheets, Docs, Slides) and CRM experience is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $60,000.00 per year
