**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a skilled Quality Control Coordinator to support our Quality department in ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting continuous improvement in quality processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and motivate a team of inspectors, providing guidance and support for optimal performance.
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality control procedures, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Oversee the inspection process from start to finish, including scheduling inspections, conducting thorough examinations, and documenting findings.
- Analyze quality metrics and inspection data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure proper documentation and communication of quality discrepancies to management and relevant teams.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by integrating quality tools such as Lean and Six Sigma into processes.
- Participate in new product development by providing input on quality control tools and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and contribute to a safe working environment.

**Qualifications/Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent, with 2 years of post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience in quality control.
- Proven experience in quality control or assurance, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and data.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented, committed to upholding high standards of quality and compliance.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Quality Auditor) is a plus.
- **Quality Control Expertise**: You have experience leading quality control teams and implementing quality assurance procedures.
- **Analytical Mindset**: You can analyze data, identify trends, and develop solutions to maintain and improve quality standards.
- **Team Player**: You collaborate effectively with production, engineering, and other teams to resolve quality issues.
- **Continuous Improvement Focus**: You actively participate in initiatives to improve quality processes and maintain compliance.
- **Attention to Detail**: You ensure thorough inspections and precise documentation to uphold product and process quality.
- **Safety Conscious**: You are committed to maintaining a safe working environment by following safety guidelines and regulations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Expected hours: 40 per week
