**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and oversee the Aerospace Quality Management System in alignment with AS9100 / ISO 9001 or equivalent standards.
- Coordinate Nadcap accreditation processes and manage internal and external audits.
- Facilitate customer and regulatory audits, ensuring full compliance and addressing any identified issues.
- Manage Supply Chain Quality by conducting audits on supplier systems and processes to uphold quality standards.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes to address non-conformances and drive improvement.
- Prepare and complete First Article Inspection (FAI) reports, ensuring compliance with aerospace industry requirements.
- Oversee shop floor inspection activities, employing techniques such as non-destructive testing (NDT), ultrasonic, liquid penetrant, and x-ray inspections.
- Interpret blueprints with strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Review and adjust aerospace specifications as required to meet quality standards.
- Manage laboratory testing, including ASTM testing processes, to ensure material and process integrity.
- Lead and develop a team of Quality Assurance personnel, providing clear direction and performance support.
- Interface effectively with suppliers, customers, and authorities to maintain a collaborative quality-focused environment.
- Prepare and present quality reports, analyses, and presentations to support management decision-making.

**Qualifications/Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality management role within the aerospace industry.
- Proven knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes, including metal bonding, composites, heat treatment, chemical processing, and aircraft assembly.
- Expertise in non-conformance management and quality improvement methodologies.
- Proficient in blueprints interpretation, with advanced knowledge of GD&T.
- Familiarity with laboratory testing and ASTM standards.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Quality Auditor) is a plus.
- **Aerospace Quality Expertise**: You bring hands-on experience managing quality systems specific to aerospace standards, including AS9100 / ISO 9001.
- **Leadership Skills**: You have a track record of leading quality assurance teams and fostering a culture of quality and accountability.
- **Analytical and Technical Proficiency**: You excel in analyzing quality data, identifying root causes, and overseeing complex inspection techniques.
- **Continuous Improvement Advocate**: You actively participate in initiatives to refine processes and enhance quality standards.
- **Effective Communicator**: You can convey technical information clearly and collaborate across teams to resolve quality issues.
- **Customer and Compliance Focused**: You ensure that all customer and regulatory requirements are met through rigorous quality assurance practices.
