**Job Description**:
We currently have an opening for a **Regulatory Planner** in our **Edmonton** office. You have a strong background in navigating the provincial and federal legislation for linear and infrastructure projects. You are a leader, a collaborator and have the ability think critically to solve problems. You will take on a strong role in project planning and implementation, project management, and client and business development. Responsibilities will include the following:

- Navigating the regulatory approval process and providing strategic advice in project planning.
- Preparing high quality scientific and technical reports, including permits and regulatory documents.
- Managing projects, including budget and schedule management, client liaison, technical leadership and coordinating project teams.
- Developing business, including proposal writing; and developing and managing client relationships.
- Leading projects through a range of federal, provincial, and municipal regulatory processes.

**Job Requirements**:
What you will bring to the table:

- Undergraduate degree (B.Sc.) in a relevant pure or applied science (graduate degree preferred).
- Preference will be given to individuals registered with a professional organization (i.e., ASPB, AIA, etc.) or eligibility for registration.
- 8+ years post-graduation experience in environmental consulting.
- Strong project management skills (i.e., more than 3 years of project management experience).
- A strong understanding of relevant provincial and federal legislation, regulation and permitting processes.
- Leadership and client relationship skills.
- Excellent communication skills and technical report writing experience.
