We currently have an opening for an Intermediate Environmental Planner in our Edmonton office. You have a strong background in navigating the provincial and federal legislation for linear and infrastructure projects. You will take on a strong role in project planning and implementation, project management, and client and business development. You possess a strong knowledge in a variety of disciplines supporting Alberta Environment related permitting and approvals.
Navigating the regulatory approval process and providing strategic advice in project planning.
Preparing high quality scientific and technical reports, including permits and regulatory documents.
Managing projects, including budget and schedule management, client liaison, technical leadership and coordinating project teams.
Business development, including proposal writing; Leading projects through a range of federal, provincial, and municipal regulatory processes.  
5+ years post-graduation experience in environmental consulting with a focus on regulatory and permit delivery.
~ Strong project management skills (i.e., more than 3 years of project management experience).
~ A strong understanding of relevant provincial and federal legislation, regulation and permitting processes.
~ Excellent communication skills and technical report writing experience.
~ A centrally located office in the heart of downtown Edmonton that is easily accessible by both bus and LRT.
