Office and Safety Administrator

Perform various administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely distribution of paychecks.
- Support human resources functions, including new employee onboarding and maintaining employee records.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee vendor management, including ordering supplies and coordinating service requests.
- Maintain and update office policies and procedures.
- Advise and lead employees/contractors on various safety-related topics.
- Prepare educational seminars and webinars on a regular basis.
- Conduct safety trainings
- Review and maintain pre trip inspection reports.
- Review and update existing safety policies and procedures.
- Check if all the employees/contractors are acting in adherence with rules and regulations.
**Skills**:
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience with payroll processing and basic knowledge of human resources practices
- Knowledge of safety policies and procedures.
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Mississauga, ON L4W 2A6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Secondary School (preferred)
