The Ministry of Children & Family Development is responsible for delivering programs and services to support positive and healthy outcomes for children, youth, young adults and their families across BC. Service Delivery Division includes staff working in 169 community offices across the province, specialized residential centres and 24/7 facilities, delivering and supporting face-to-face, centralized and virtual services across seven service lines: early childhood development, children and youth with support needs, child and youth mental health, child protection and family support, guardianship and adoption, youth justice, and helping youth transition to adulthood and adult services.

The Strategic Planning, Performance & Engagement Branch provides strategic and business planning, performance management and reporting, employee engagement and communications services for the division.

Reporting to the Director, the Performance Management Analyst designs a performance management framework for the division and develops reporting for executive and frontline leaders; monitors, analyses, evaluates and reports on complex program and operational performance; and advises divisional leadership on issues, trends and best practices in performance management and program evaluation.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Statistics, or a field related to the program area and 2 years of related experience; OR
- Diploma in Public Administration, Business Administration, Statistics, or a field related to the program area and 3 years related experience; OR
- Certificate or coursework in Public Administration, Business Administration, Statistics, or a field related to the program area and 4 years related experience; OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Related experience includes the following:

- Experience in analysing and evaluating program performance.
- Experience developing performance management plans, reports and dashboards.
- Experience in planning and performance measurement within the public sector.
- Experience in data visualization and data storytelling.
- Experience conducting long-term planning.
- Self-identify as Indigenous (First Nations, status or non-status, Métis, or Inuit) with the required combination of education and experience.
