Customer Experience Representative

**NOTE**:This is a temporary position ending on or before February 2025, with the possibility of extension.**

Are you an independent thinker who shows initiative? _shop AT NAIT_ is looking for a creative, professional individual to join our team and provide outstanding customer experiences. We are more than just a bookstore, and not only will you serve those who walk in our doors, you will provide digital course material support and assist in fulfilling web and special orders.

This position includes a variety of shifts flexing between the hours of 8am and 5pm including movement/shifts between Patricia, Souch and Main campus based on business needs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Process sales and web orders in an efficient manner, modelling accuracy
- Support the process of receiving, counting, tagging, and organizing inventory and customer orders
- Prepare merchandise for sale and assist in the promotion of products and specials
- Replenish floor stock and keep team informed of product sell-through observations
- Support the picking and fulfillment of web and special orders
- When helping at the satellite campuses liaise with Buyers at Main campus to ensure students and staff needs are met
- Enact loss-prevention strategies in order to support a secure shopping environment

**Skills & Abilities**:

- Ability to work independently when needed
- Detail orientated and an agile learner with the ability to retain product knowledge and confidently assist customers
- Excellent skills in customer service, communication, and teamwork
- The ability to learn and follow established departmental guidelines and procedures
- Flexibility with scheduling, including the ability to work increased hours during peak periods and some evening and weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.

**Qualifications**:

- Must have previous experience in a retail or customer service environment where focus was on providing an excellent customer experience
- Point of Sale experience is necessary to be successful in the role
- Completion of grade 12 and a combination of experience and education related to the role

**Remuneration**: $933.47 - $1,239.32 biweekly, plus a comprehensive benefits package. (Classification - Customer Service Rep I)
- This position is covered by the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) Collective Agreement._
