**Job responsibilities will include**:
- Coordinate with vendors to obtain quotes, and finalize purchase orders.
- Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory management.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and products.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs and requirements.
- Support the operations team in various administrative tasks and projects.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to purchasing activities.
- Other duties as assigned
**Required Qualifications**:
- Must be currently enrolled or recent graduate of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or related studies.
- Outstanding organizational skills as demonstrated by your ability to handle multiple priorities and problem solve complex or difficult situations by anticipating obstacles and thinking ahead about next steps
- Excellent time management.
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications and Google Suite
- Interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented, organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Work well with a team, organized and self-motivated.
- Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, purchasing, distribution or logistics position is an asset but not a requirement
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a rapidly evolving environment.
**Job Types**: Fixed term contract, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 4 months
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
