Junior Quotations Student Co-op

Overview:
**This co-op will run from May-August 2023 and will be a Fully On-Site work model.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare detailed quotes for customers
- Act as a Quotations Consultant to Sales Representatives, Order Desk Representatives, and specified customers
- Ensures all quotations are accompanied with relevant documents
- Uses multiple sources including vendors and internet to source products
- Ensures quotes are processed within the chosen and established price structure and to make final decision in conjunction with manager for finalizing quotes
- Consistently follow up on quotations for status reports and documents for departments
- Review specifications and obtain product and pricing information through vendors
- Source and purchase non-stock products
- Back up order desk during peak times
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
**WHAT YOU HAVE**:

- Ability to develop a strong rapport with clients and coworkers
- Demonstrated interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills to effectively build a positive relationship with team members and customers
- Self-starter who takes initiative and work well independently
- Well organized, with the ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Self-motivated and team-oriented
- Aptitude for learning new concepts and adopting new software programs
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Must be enrolled in a co-op business or engineering program or other such comparable field
- Experience in customer service or sales is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
