The Insurance Council of British Columbia is the regulatory organization that licenses and regulates the activities of over 45,000 life and general insurance agents, general insurance salespersons, insurance adjusters, and restricted travel insurance agents in British Columbia.

**The Opportunity**

***This is a two month contract position with the possibility of extension.**

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Understanding of Council operations and detailed knowledge of annual licence renewal process in order to properly address inquiries
- Provides reception and mail coverage, as required
- Completes other tasks, as assigned by the manager

**Qualifications and Experience**
- 2-3 years of experience in an office environment with a focus on data entry and customer service
- Exceptional accuracy with respect to data entry
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good word processing skills, with a typing speed of 45 wpm
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Punctual, dependable, and able to function well under pressure
