Our **Executive Assistant **is an important contributor to our organization, helping to indirectly support vulnerable individuals experiencing poverty and homelessness.

Founded in 1913, Evangel Hall Mission (EHM) is a multi-service agency that provides support to people who are homeless and living in poverty. We offer hot meals, showers, laundry facilities and respite from the elements through our Drop In Centre. Drop In participants can access spiritual care, volunteer and employment opportunities, and voluntary financial trusteeship from EHM staff. They can also access a range of supports from community partners through the Drop In, such as Narcotics Anonymous, vaccine clinics, nursing care, legal clinics, programs offered by Toronto Public Health and many more. EHM is also home to over 160 individuals and families, living in our two subsidized apartment buildings.

**What you would bring to the role**:

- Successful completion of a post-secondary diploma or degree in Public Administration, Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of five (5) years of recent relevant progressive experiencesupporting senior leadership, preferably in a not-for-profit, or broader public sector environment.
- Knowledge of general office procedures, including financial, records and information management filing system and its integration in an executive office environment.
- Knowledge and demonstrated ability in customer service, communication, teamwork, initiative/self-management, accountability, and flexibility/adaptability.
- Strong political acuity and understanding of a political environment.
- Clear understanding of executive office functions, political framework and faith-based organizations, their constituents, provincial ministries and relevant agencies.
- Excellent detail orientation, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to research and investigate issues, make sound decisions to resolve problems and/or escalate, as necessary.
- Ability to deal with sensitive or confidential matters with tact, discretion and diplomacy.
- Ability to complete a high volume of work with accuracy and within prescribed deadlines in a fast pace, high-pressure environment.

**What we would offer (a more detailed job description will be provided when invited to interview for the role)**:
You will work 37.5 hours per week, Mondays to Friday, with occasional requirements to work evenings and weekends to attend meetings.

You will be based at our 552 Adelaide St West location in downtown Toronto. You may be required to work from our 163 Portland St location, just 5 minutes walk away. There may also be occasional local travel to attend meetings.

A competitive annual salary in the range **$50,000-$60,000,**which will be determined based on your experience.
