**Job Summary**:
As the Head of People and Culture, you will play a pivotal role in scaling, shaping and nurturing our company culture while championing the professional development and well-being of our employees. Reporting directly to the founder, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources, from recruitment, talent and strategic planning, rewards and recognition and day-to-day operations in a high-growth, scale-up environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company's goals and values, fostering a culture of high performance and employee engagement.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor and advocate for employees, handling all HR-related inquiries and conflicts with empathy, professionalism, and candor.
- Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement HR practices to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations while promoting a fair and inclusive workplace.
- Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement programs, and perks - making sure we have competitive offerings that support employee development, well-being and retention.
- Payroll and Compensation: Oversee payroll processing and compensation using market analysis to make sure we have competitive pay structures and merit-based promotions and transfers.
- Performance Management: Design and implement performance evaluation, world-class feedback, coaching, and support to employees and managers to drive individual and team performance.
- Learning and Development: Collaborate across company to identify learning needs and opportunities for skill development, curating learning resources and programs to support employee growth and career advancement - including the use of $4k/yr of academic benefits we provide each employee with SkillsWave partners
- HR Metrics and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to track HR metrics and KPIs, generating insights and recommendations to optimize HR initiatives and drive business outcomes.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Stay on top of changes in labor laws and regulations, ensuring company-wide compliance and mitigating HR-related risks.
- Prepare for and join board conversations where appropriate or to gain experience on our leadership team as we grow.
- Help us build thought leadership and strengthen our networks with CHROs and head of people globally.
