Nordstern Group is looking for a highly motivated individual who can excel in a fast paced environment and is excited about challenging projects, mastering technologies and working with people. We seek a talented, bright and hardworking individual with a proven track record of success. The position of Payroll/Benefits Administrator is Part Time (.5 FTE) and will report directly to the Human Resource Manager.

**Duties will include a combination of the following**:

- Accurately process a biweekly payroll of both hourly and salary employees.
- Work with Department Managers to update hours/absences in Odyssey software.
- Oversee the administration of the employee benefit program.
- Maintain employee files in a confidential manner.
- Guide / support employees regarding payroll and company policies.
- Guide / support employees regarding group benefits.
- Update and maintain various payroll reports.
- Cover front desk when needed.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Ability to meet daily deadlines.
- Proven professionalism and discretion.
- Detail oriented and has the ability to work independently.
- Strong sense of teamwork within groups and across organization
- Completed / enrolled in the Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification program.
- At least 1-3 years of payroll administration experience is an asset.
