Randstad Staffing is currently looking for a Payroll and Benefits Specialist for a great company in Winnipeg.

Responsibilities
- Managing and processing employee payroll accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensuring compliance with federal and provincial regulations related to payroll and benefits
- Administering employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks
- Handling payroll-related inquiries from employees and addressing any issues that may arise
- Collaborating with HR to update and maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy of payroll data
- Staying informed about changes in tax laws, labor regulations, and other relevant legislation
- Processing and reconciling payroll reports, including deductions, overtime, and bonuses
- Assisting in the preparation and distribution of annual tax forms, such as T4s
- Collaborating with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Utilizing payroll software and systems and staying updated on industry best practices and technologies

Qualifications
- Post-secondary education
- PCP certification will be considered an asset
- Ability to work well independently and under minimal supervision
- Ability to take initiative and be a good problem solver
- Must have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in a payroll and benefits role
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
