POSITIONOVERVIEW:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Retail Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. As aMascot Brewery Retail Sales Rep, youwill be responsible for promoting and selling our products to the retail channels. Your primary goal will be to build strong relationships with our existing clients and identify new opportunities for expanding our customer base. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of ourMascot team and contribute to the growth of our brand.
KEYRESPONSIBILITIES:
- **Sales and Business Development**:Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the designated territory, including but not limited to retail stores; LCBO, grocery and The Beer Store
- **Relationship Building**:Develop andmaintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring excellent customer service and support
- **Product Knowledge**:Possess a deep understanding of our portfolio, including tasting notes, brewing processes, and brand stories. Educate customers and staff members on the unique qualities of our products
- **Sales Presentations**:Conduct engaging and informative product presentations to retail staff, managers, and decision-makers, showcasing the value and benefits of our portfolio
- **Merchandising and Promotions**:Collaborate with retailers to create appealing displays, implement promotions, and executemarketing initiatives to drive sales and increase brand visibility
- **Market Research**:Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences. Provide regular feedback onmarket insights, customer needs, and potential product improvements
- **Sales Reporting**:Maintain accurate and detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, andmarket data. Prepare regular reports and present them
- **Events and Tastings**:Represent the company at industry events, tastings, and trade shows.
Engagewith potential customers, distributemarketingmaterials, and provide amemorable brand experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
- **Experience**:Minimum2 years of sales experience, preferably in the beer industry or a related field
- **Passion for Craft Beer**:Demonstrated knowledge and passion for beer, including an understanding of different beer styles, brewing processes, and industry trends
- **Sales Skills**:Proven track record in achieving sales targets, building, andmaintaining customer relationships, and negotiating deals
- **Communication Skills**:Excellent verbal andwritten communication skills, with the ability to present confidently and persuasively to a diverse audience
- **Self-Motivated**:Ability to work independently and proactively manage a designated territory, prioritize tasks, andmeet deadlines
- **Problem-Solving Abilities**:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and develop creative solutions
- **Flexibility**:Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and attend events outside regular business hours, as required
- **Valid Driver's License**:Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
