Niagara College - Toronto is a public college-private partnership between Niagara College Canada and TSoM, with academic delivery and student support services managed by TSoM.

**Position Overview**:
Instructors of Business Diploma Programs are responsible for facilitating a dynamic learning environment, overseeing lesson plans, lectures, and assessments, and shaping future business leaders through active class engagement, academic support, and developing academic resources and materials.

**Working Conditions**:
Classes for January 2024 will be scheduled on any day(s) from Monday to Sunday. The learning format will involve in-person instruction, requiring on-campus presence per class schedule.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and deliver an engaging learning environment using available resources and various teaching methods to effectively achieve course objectives.
- Oversee lesson planning, assignments, class, and assessments of the student’s work to ensure students understand course goals and expectations.
- Facilitate discussions, provide feedback, and encourage active student participation during classes.
- Introduce case studies, challenges, and innovative ideas to cultivate critical thinking and rational reasoning skills in students.
- Participate in relevant department and faculty meetings to stay informed and contribute to faculty responsibilities.
- Conduct further research into their specific field of knowledge.
- Perform other responsibilities as required.

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
- Professional designations CPA, CFA, ACCA, PMP, CIM, CHRP, CSCP, or similar, are highly preferred.
- Minimum two years of teaching experience in a post-secondary environment or equivalent work experience in a related field or a combination of both.
- Previous experience in teaching, student supervision, delivering constructive and impactful support and feedback at the college or university level is required.
- Experience in online teaching is considered an advantage.

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a team player.

- Ability to be aware of and manage individual student needs.
