Join our Dynamic Team in Fish and Wildlife Licensing

Be at the forefront of provincial program development, client services, and data management for recreational and commercial licensing of fish and wildlife resources. As a crucial member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a program with Fish and Wildlife Licensing program, which is following the Wildlife Act, Wildlife Regulation, the Fisheries Alberta Act (Canada), the General Fisheries (Alberta) Regulations, the Financial Administration Act and Fisheries and Wildlife Policies and Practices.

Your contributions will directly impact the efficient operation of these programs, ensuring they align with legislation and seasonal timelines to achieve the department's goals and objectives. With a strong emphasis on serving the public, your decisions will receive significant public attention, allowing you to make a visible difference in our community.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- The minimum requirements for this role are a one-year certificate supplemented by two (2) years of related experiences.
- Directly related experience or education is considered on a one-for-one basis.

**Additional assets**:

- Experience working with and understanding relevant legislation including Alberta Wildlife Act and Regulation, the Fisheries Alberta Act (Canada), and the General Fisheries (Alberta) Regulations.
- Experience and thorough understanding of fish and wildlife licensing (fishing, hunting, and trapping) in Alberta.
- Understanding how licensing is incorporated with the management of fish and wildlife resources in Alberta.

**Salary**:
$2,088.33 to $2,716.64 bi-weekly ($54,480 - $70,872/year)

**Notes**:
This position is a permanent, full-time position with standard weekly work hours of 36.25, Monday to Friday in Edmonton, Alberta.
