As the Amenity Manager this role you will have the opportunity to oversee the luxury services provided to The Residence of the Queens Marque and guests of The Muir Hotel.

**As the Amenity Manager, you will get to**:

- Oversee Queens Marque luxury services including the Windward Wellness Centre, Boating services, and outdoor leisure equipment rental such as Kayaks and Bicycles.
- Provide 5-star customer service to all guests, owners, and visitors of Queens Marque District.
- An enthusiastic, supportive leader who is experienced with both guests, residents, VIP's as stipulated, and the Queens Marque and Muir team.
- Ensure Forbes 5-star standards are being upheld with all services and team members are properly trained on the standards.
- Collaborate with the management team to ensure process are frequently updated to align with Forbes 5-star standards.
- Work alongside team members in the day-to-day ongoings to ensure services are operating smoothly.
- Aware of special owner VIP relationships within the local Nova Scotian community or international community.
- Conduct pre arrival processes to contact all future guests and residence to arrange services including but not limited to Wine Tastings, Dining Reservations, shipping packages, various Transportation methods, and researching different vendors and service providers.
- Assure information for restaurants, museums, attractions, tours, maps and other local attractions are updated and current.
- Continuously builds an extensive knowledge base of local area restaurants, shops, attractions, transportation options, and airports.
- Proficient knowledge on activities that are available in Halifax & around the province (concerts, theatre, sports games, special exhibits, land marks, sightseeing, outdoor activities).
- Maintains a positive and professional relationship with all vendors and merchants.
- Works with the Queens Marque and Muir team to develop innovative actives and promotional events.

**Your qualifications include**:

- Diploma or certificate in Hotel/Restaurant Management or the equivalent an asset
- Experience leading a team who upholds acceptation standards
- Guest service-related experience, ideally in luxury hotels
- Experience upholding Forbes standards is an asset
- Familiarity with location, neighborhood, and local attractions, including restaurants, bars, and nightlife
- A proven track record of personalized customer service
- Ability to suggest a wide variety of local and province-wide attractions for guest entertainment
- Working knowledge of office software, point-of-sale, and phone systems
- Has excellent people skills and the ability to interact with all guests and owners, internal and external, effectively with tact and diplomacy
- True desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Strong follow through skills
- Positive and can-do attitude
- Problem solving skills
