The Roy Halifax is a luxury condo building in the heart of historic downtown Halifax. The concierge team is an integral part of the luxury lifestyle community at The Roy.

Key Duties & Responsibilities Include

The concierge at The Roy is a key contributor to creating a community and culture that is welcoming, professional and solutions oriented.

Resident Relations
- Manages client relations and ensures that excellent service is provided to all owners and their guests.
- Communicates to all residents, guests, and employees in a professional manner.
- Anticipates and responds to all owner issues promptly and takes appropriate action to remedy the matter.
- Maintains a visible and accessible profile.
- Provides all lobby services in a courteous, efficient and accurate manner.
- Keeps up to date on current events to open discussions with residents.
- Provides exceptional customer service to all residents and supports other departments including maintenance and housekeeping.
- Receives all incoming packages/deliveries to the building.
- Provides information and responds to inquiries from owners and refers to appropriate person as necessary.
- Covers Front Desk reception area and performs all functions necessary in welcoming residents.
- Assists owners with deliveries and arranges carts/dollies as necessary.
- Greets residents and visitors promptly.

Administration
- Performs technology and building systems trouble shooting as required.
- Manages amenity booking and administration of including collecting the appropriate documentation & payment.
- Manages and provides oversight for resident move ins and move outs.

Problem resolution
- Troubleshoots problems and issues that arise.
- Displays knowledge of all services, facilities and features of The Roy and promotes the services and amenities to residents as appropriate.

Security, Maintenance & Incident Management
- Maintains and troubleshoots the Condo Control communication tool and other building systems as required.
- Maintains access control to the building and manages the main entrance and lobby areas.
- Ensures the front lobby and the main entrance to the building are in good repair and free of debris from corner to corner.
- Patrols building to ensure building is running smoothly at all times.
- Effectively manages Life Safety emergencies that may arise.

Required skills
- Client service orientation.
- Previous concierge, hospitality management, building management or a suitable combination of.
- Good PC Skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Knowledge of local attractions and events.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
