**About the position**:
Reporting to the Executive Director of Innovation & Technology, under day to day supervision of the IT Manager, as well as working with teachers and office staff, you will be responsible for:
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assisting classroom and specialist teachers with computer hardware and software configuration
- Supervising, guiding and providing in-class technical support to students alone or in groups as required by the teacher
- Liaising with vendor for computer hardware and software configuration
- Helping teachers prep technology materials that support lesson plans
- Coordinating and configuring hands-on robotics equipment
- Creating slideshows and videos highlighting student work
- Troubleshooting student login and navigation of approved web apps
- Maintaining documentation and scheduling within an IT ticketing system
- Using a high level of French language (reinforce the French language) and interactions, modeling positive behavior
- Maintaining a collaborative relationship with all stakeholders
- Performing other related duties as assigned
**Who we are looking for**:
- Excellent French skills (oral and written)
- Minimum Level B2 in English
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience with children ( primary and junior levels)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, respectful and diplomatic communication skills with students, parents, and staff
- Demonstrated knowledge of Google Apps for Education and iOS
- Strong work ethic and effective time management skills
- Independent and reliable team player, flexible with the ability to work in a demanding environment and to transition easily depending on the situation
- Proven effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Discretion
