Tradition is a market leader in thaw and sell baking technology. Founded in 1982, Tradition is a 2nd generation family owned business. We develop and produce high quality sweet goods including: thaw and sell, proof and bake, and freezer to oven for: Contract manufacturing, Private label, Retail and Foodservice. Our products are produced in a world class manufacturing facility with highly automated continuous process lines which product some of North American's favorite muffins, pastries and cookies.

We are looking for a dynamic and collaborative Account Manager for our Foodservice North American Co-Manufacturer business. In this newly created role you will use your business and analytical skills to retain and grow the foodservice segment and sign on new customers.

What you will do:
**Business Management**:

- Be the sales expert on your foodservices customer strategy objective and goals. Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a customer solution.
- Deliver in-year and future profitable sales growth by understanding customer needs and building effective long-term partnerships.
- Lead RFP process in its entirety, to deliver profitable solutions.
- Lead best in-class customer presentations to gain new customer business, leading with culinary approach.

**Grow existing business & Create New business**:

- Diversify customer base by targeting new opportunities that align with Tradition Fine Foods value proposition and capabilities.
- Act as voice of the customer and lead all internal external presentations on performance metrics and make recommendations to the business on new opportunities and risks.
- Work collaboratively to lead line-trial with internal and external stakeholders.

**Sales fundamentals**
- Own key sales metrics.
- Build tactical account plans
- Manage customer orders, promotional programs and monthly costing management and forecasting
- Manage and negotiate multi-year contracts with customers and brokers.

**Technical aptitude**
- Understand Tradition value proposition, capabilities and processes.
- Provide input to pricing models and variables to deliver mutually profitable solutions.
- Manage customer systems as required.

**What will make you successful**:

- 5+ years of Sales / Account Management experience in the foodservice food industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Business
- Strategic thinker with a proven experience selling to large foodservice operators and key distributors
- Previous experience growing a portfolio
- Can do approach, ability to build and foster relationships both internally and externally with integrity and trust.
- Entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with a proven ability to work independently to deliver results
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills required.
- Strong Financial acumen
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite of products
- Proven ability to create collaborative solutions for customers with a cross functional team
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills required.
