**Customer Service / Operations Manager**

We are proud of our past, and excited about our future We are looking for a **Customer Service / Operations Manager **to support our growing wholesale operations team.

This role is ideal for someone who is customer focused, energetic, self-directed, and organized.

In this role you will:

- Provide superior customer support by identifying issues, devising solutions, and accepting ownership to a successful closure.
- Lead, manage and direct all customer service activities.
- Monitor and review daily, weekly and monthly reporting for Sales department and the company.
- Responsible for order entry, answering Customer Service phones, message management, data entry in ERP and performing all Customer Service activities as needed.
- Manage Customer Service efforts to resolve customer issues in a timely and effective manner. Ensure effective procedures are in place to resolve customer issues.
- Assist in office management as needed.
- Customer account management.
- Monitor expected ship dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed. Communicate with internal and external customer on any deviations to established Ship Date.
- Liaison between Sales, Manufacturing/Scheduling, Quality and other departments to ensure customer needs are met.
- Develop and implement strategies and initiatives to improve processes and procedures that will improve company performance, support strategic growth plans and drive organizational goals and objectives.

**Qualifications**
- Must have a minimum of five years experience in a customer service function in a sales department.
- Must have a minimum of two years experience in an operations role, ideally in meat processing.
- Five years managerial experience with demonstrated ability to effectively lead and manage.
- Self-directed with an ability to manage and balance multiple priorities and execute against committed scope and schedules.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to create and build rapport, relationships and partnerships quickly.
- Working knowledge of ERP database tools and are experienced in the sales process.
- Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to health and safety.
- Strong knowledge of GMP.
- Ability to establish and manage metrics, ensuring team ownership and focus.
- Adaptable, can shift priorities quickly and work well under pressure.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and ERP systems
- Collaborative with excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Detail oriented.
