**Position Summary**

CIMCO Refrigeration is looking for a Construction Superintendent for the Burlington location. The ideal Construction Superintendent will be able to lead teams and ensure that projects are delivered on time and on-budget.

As Superintendent, you will be involved in every aspect of multiple constructions projects across the greater GTA. The role will be based within the company’s construction office, or operations headquarters, but will require travel, as necessary, to the various project sites.

This position reports directly to the company’s Ontario Construction Manager and requires a professional with the fluid ability to take on new roles as assigned.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Ability to plan, coordinate and manage effectively all labour, material and equipment to meet the established budget, schedule and scope of the projects.
- A knack for maintaining and tracking billings, reports and projections and implementing trade awards and construction work within financial targets and constraints.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining effective relationships with clients, owners and consultants.
- Strong business skills, along with advanced knowledge of the industry standards and best practices.
- Comfortable working under pressure to meet firm budgets and tight deadlines, while motivating teams to do so as well.
- Comprehensive knowledge of ERP and other scheduling software.
- Possesses confidence in their ability to familiarize them self with all contract drawings and specifications in order to identify any errors, changes, omissions, cost-saving measures or potential construction issues.
- Accomplished mechanical/electrical/HVAC/trades background with strong project management and assured team leadership experience.

**Required Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications**
- 5+ years in the Construction Industry with trades and direct experience overseeing Mechanical/Electrical, HVAC/Refrigeration projects of a Commercial, Industrial and Recreational scope.
- Direct experience ensuring teams stay on budget and within established schedules in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders for multiple jobs sites with concurrent schedules.
- Strong computer skills, ability to use ERP/scheduling software/Office Suite.
- Trained and certified in all aspects of construction safety is an asset.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Must be available to travel within the territory and willing to make weekly visits to sites, or travel as required.
