With the opening of our new office in Toronto, we are seeking a **Co-Founder & Product Officer (PO)** specializing in physical product development to help shape the future of new products and businesses. As part of our incubator, you'll work hands-on to build cutting-edge products—whether it's a gadget, consumer product, or custom hardware solution—using the resources we provide to bring these products to the next level.

Position Overview:
As the **Co-Founder & PO**, you will take full ownership of the product development process from concept to prototype and beyond. You’ll have access to state-of-the-art tools, including 3D printers, CAD software, and hardware resources, to build physical products. The focus of this role is on **creating and developing products yourself**, rather than leading or managing other teams. You’ll work directly with entrepreneurs who are entering the TRIZAN incubator, providing them with the support and resources to refine and scale their ideas.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who is passionate about hands-on product creation, enjoys experimenting with new technologies, and wants to help entrepreneurs turn their ideas into real-world products. Key Responsibilities:
Lead Product Development:

- Oversee the development of physical products from initial concept through to design, prototyping, and refinement.
- Use your hands-on skills to take ideas and transform them into working prototypes using 3D printing, CAD tools, and other available technologies.

Product Design & Prototyping:

- Create detailed 3D models and prototypes using software like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Fusion 360.
- Build and iterate on physical prototypes using 3D printing, CNC machining, and other prototyping tools provided by TRIZAN.

Hands-On Product Creation:

- Be fully hands-on in the creation of physical products, from product design to the actual building of prototypes.
- Manage the prototyping process, including sourcing materials, overseeing the creation of prototypes, and iterating designs based on feedback.

Hardware & Electronics Integration:

- Integrate electronics and hardware components into your products as needed, using available resources and equipment.
- Ensure products are functional, manufacturable, and meet the intended specifications and market needs.

Work Directly with Entrepreneurs:

- Support startup entrepreneurs in taking their product concepts from early-stage ideas to tangible, prototype-ready designs.
- Provide expert guidance on product design, functionality, and manufacturability, helping them refine their vision and bring their ideas to life.

Innovate & Experiment:

- Push the boundaries of product design by experimenting with new materials, technologies, and manufacturing techniques.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and incorporate cutting-edge solutions into your development process.

Supply Chain & Manufacturing Support:

- While the focus will be on prototyping, help lay the groundwork for transitioning from prototype to production by understanding key manufacturing processes.
- Assist entrepreneurs in connecting with manufacturers as their products scale.

Qualifications:

- **Education**: High School completion required. Formal qualifications are not a strict requirement; we care more about your passion and ability to build products.
- **Experience**: While formal experience is not necessary, hands-on experience with product design, 3D printing, or physical prototyping is a plus. We’re looking for someone who is excited to learn and grow in the field of product development.

**Skills**:

- **Hands-on Product Development**: Comfort with using tools and technologies for creating physical products.
- **Design Tools**: Basic familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360) is helpful but not essential—we will train you.
- **Creative Problem-Solving**: A strong ability to solve technical challenges and think creatively to build functional products.
- **Attention to Detail**: Precision and care in building prototypes and refining product designs.
- **Self-Motivated**: A passion for building and creating products independently, without heavy supervision.
- **Communication**: Ability to articulate design ideas and product plans clearly to entrepreneurs.
