**About the Position**

**Responsibilities**

**Business Development**
- Develop and maintain key relationships with architects, contractors and clients.
- Understand changing market dynamics and competitive landscape through client interaction.
- Create and develop modern marketing strategies and promotional materials.
- Develop presentations to educate the marketplace on what differentiates Sobotec.
- Seek strategic growth opportunities through new innovations, scope expansion and partnering ideas.

**Sales**
- Achieve the revenue targets and profit profile for assigned markets.
- Source proposals and qualify new opportunities.
- Understand project scope, customer expectations and the target price needed to “win”.
- Lead the proposal team to create innovative, timely, cost effective and market leading bids.
- Understand contract terms with the ability to negotiate.

**Education & Experience**
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Engineering, Sales/Marketing with relevant Technical or Science studies.
- Knowledge and experience with construction, façade/building envelope or building science.
- Motivated, self-starter with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Customer focused and inquisitive with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to read architectural drawings, understand estimates and price project proposals.
- Experience with sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
- Excellent negotiation and diplomacy skills, with a high degree of tact and persuasiveness.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software.
- Ability to travel; poses a valid passport and driver’s license.
