The Role
Transport Supervisor role will include overseeing the daily operations of transportation department. This role requires a detail oriented and organized individual with strong focus on optimizing transportation processes, ensuring safe and timely deliveries of Airline Catering Products and maintain a fleet of vehicles.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure and supervise the safe transport and delivery of temperature-controlled food catering facility to the aircraft.
- Supervise daily transportation operations, including route planning, scheduling, and coordination.
- Monitor and manage a fleet of vehicles for the smooth operations.
- Coordinate with drivers to optimize delivery schedules and ensure on time performance.
- Oversee the implementation of safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment for transportation staff.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure the availability of necessary materials and resources for transportation needs.
- Conduct regular inspections of vehicles and implement maintenance schedules to minimize the downtime.
- Analyze the transportation performance metrics, identify areas for improvement and implement efficiency measures.
- Train and mentor, the transportation staff and safety procedures.
- Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met.
- Promote and maintain clients / customers satisfaction.
- Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters.
- Communicating and coordinating with other departments and customers.
- Complete other duties as directed.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in logistics or supply management or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant Experience.
- Experience of Working in the airline catering industry will be an asset.
