**The opportunity**
Reporting to the Controller, we are looking for an Accounting Manager to develop and implement accounting policies and play a critical role on the Finance team. You will lead our day to day financial and accounting activities, including managing the month-end close process, account reconciliations, preparation of financial statements and management and processing of receivables and payables.

**What you will do**:

- Financial analysis. You will manage month-end close and preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports and prepare journal entries as needed to close month-end, including cost accruals. You will provide accurate and timely completion of account reconciliations. You will oversee fixed assets, depreciation and inventory count. You will prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses requested by management
- Collaborate. You will partner with the Controller to determine accounting treatment and define accounting policies. You will work closely with the Finance team and IT to implement our new SAP FI CO environment.
- Ensure statutory financial obligations are met. You will review and complete documentation and filing related to audits, tax and other Government compliance requirements in a timely and efficient manner.

**What you bring**:

- Education and experience. You have a university degree in Business Administration, Accounting or a related field. You have or you are pursuing your CPA designation. You have extensive experience preparing financial summaries, analyzing reports, and interpreting the financial health of a start-up organization. You have intermediate to an advanced working knowledge of applicable software programs, including Excel. SAP FI CO knowledge would be an asset.

You can design and implement accounting processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and stability.
